Shiv Shakti Sangam In Pune - Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh

Around 100000 swayamsevaks, 50000 spectators and near 8000 distinguished persons from various walks of life will be present at the Shiv Shakti Sangam. It is obvious that the security measures that are to be taken will be as huge as the massive turnout of people.

Considering this the RSS has made adequate security arrangements at the ShivShakti Sangam venue. This includes the following measures :


1) Entry to swayamsevaks on Sanghsthan is possible only after the BARCODE SCAN printed on the ID cards given.

2) For spectators, entry on sanghsthan is possible only after METAL DETECTION INSPECTION, this arrangement is made on all the SIX entrances besides the MAIN ENTRANCES.

3) The entire Sanghasthan will be under CCTV Surveillance and a binacular watch will be kept from all the INSPECTION TOWERS.

4) The entire program will be shot from a Drone Camera.

5) Entire ShivShakti Sangam venue will be inspected by the BOMB DETECTION SQUAD.

6) Inspection by the SPECIAL SNIFFER DOG SQUAD.

These and other security measures have been put into effect. Besides, the ATS CHIEF SHRI. BHANUPRATAP BARGE has inspected the sanghasthan closely along with his staff and has given instructions which will be followed meticulously. The Pune Police Commisioner has briefed Police personnel about cooperation in the safety and security arrangements which will ensure a prompt vigilance at the venue.

Around 150 Swayamsevaks will also volunteer for the security arrangements and they have been duly trained for the same.
